If you are a fan of our extreme height daylilies then Yellow Ibis is an absolute must have. We registered Y.I. at 70" but I can tell you first hand that because it is somewhat a bud-builder it can top out at well over the 70". Y.I. has a huge, fragrant bloom of creamy lemon with a huge, radiating chartreuse throat. Scapes are very strong and hold up well both to wind and rain, with only a few outside scapes leaning ever so slightly, but in no means so much as to be a fault as many of this height do. And how many of them have a 9" bloom!!! If you like tall, this one has it all.Fragrant, Diurnal, with 4 way branching and 24 buds. As you can see from the parentage this was a sib cross.
