WAILUKU is the most recent addition to the Hawaiian Volcano Series. A fragrant polychrome of peach, pink and yellow, ‘Wailuku’ is a hardy evergreen displaying its huge tropical-looking blooms on 54 inch scapes. The floral form is a lightly cascading spatulate. Pollen parent is a seedling from a cross Mahieu's son made at age two and a half. Fertile both ways. [(SATIN BIRD x CASHMERE) X (DARLING RIVER x OKLAHOMA KICKING BIRD)] 4 way branching and 24 buds. Fragrant.
