CASCADE UFO, huge tropical coral-rose blend with orange sherbet throat. Named for a character in James Michener’s novel Hawaii, also the Polynesian goddess of the moon. In Michener’s novel Marama was the priestess who brought the first flowers to Hawaii from Bora Bora. This gorgeous flower was one of my favorite breeders in this palette in '07, a great addition to my Hawaiian lines and stunning F2 seedling out of H. citrina.
