Krakatoa Mist is one of two new intro's to add to the Volcano Series. K.M. is a stunner of a bloom that is 7.5 inches of the clearest pastel-melon. Although registered as (Seedling X Seedling) we are 99.9% confident that it came out of Kilauea breeding because of the scape height and bloom size and form. One thing that sets this plant apart from anything else in our garden is the twisted, contorted scapes. This was first thought to be an anomoly, but the twisting and contorting has been consistent for 3 years now so we feel that this plant will always have this trait. This trait really spins open the branching and buds which keeps the huge blooms from getting crowded. K.M. should be planted in the front of the border and will make a great conversation piece. Nocturnal, Extended, Fragrant, with 4 way branching and 24 buds per scape. (Seedling X Seedling).
