Fragrant Moonbeam is a gorgeous early-mid bloomer of the sweetest gardenia-honeysuckle fragrance that can be smelled from all the way across the yard. It is without equal when it comes to fragrance at our farm. The color is somewhat tricky to describe, but to my eye appears to be an icy lemon-chartreuse that has pale violet stippling on the petal and more and darker stippling on the sepals giving the bloom almost a pale lavender apperance at times. Foliage is a beautiful mint green with ramrod straight scapes that have 3 way branching and 22 or more buds. Some scapes had 4 way and 30 buds but we took the lesser of the avearge to be fair. Blooms are very self cleaning. Plant this one in a sitting area and enjoy the artistic structure of the plant and the intoxicating fragrance of the blooms. Nocturnal, extended. (H.
