Mahieu Diploid 98-547 D (FLUTTERBYE X BELLADONNA STARFISH) 40 M 5.5 SEV, NOC ext, 5 way branching 38 buds, 3 way crispate Unusual Form. Named for the cloud forests of South America where many orchids grow. This is a gorgeous creped pastel blend of blush pink and ivory with a lavender glaze, the throat is a neon lemon lime. Substance is very crisp and waxy. Form is orchid-like with pinched, quilled and hooked sepals. Petals pinch twist and recurve. Sunfast color, clean foliage and fertile. Excellent bloodlines for UF hybridizers.
