Deep,rich, mahogany-chocolate polychrome with a slightly darker halo and a lighter creamy edge. Chartruese throat. Non Fragrant. 3-way branching with 15 buds. The color was the main reason for registering it. Really different color to see in the garden. Update..This one in 2011 was well over 48" tall and had 4-5 way branching and 40+ buds...Outstanding...
