NEWS FLASH

These are not for individual sale. This is to be sold in ONE LOT“ We don’t have enough time & energy to move over 400 cultivars to a new field so they need to go.” There is over 400+ cultivars that we must part with. There are full forms, minis, doubles and spiders. Here is your chance to add these cultivars to your garden. This would be a great opportunity to start a daylily business or add to your current business. Email for a excel list of the daylilies. All daylilies are in the field and you will need to dig them. For daylily pictures (with red asterisk) go to our website www.bluegrassgardens.net . The buyer will be responsible for all digging, tagging, and loading to your trailer or transportation that you provide. We will assist in locating the correct varieties for sale only. We will not be doing any of the digging or loading or anything else associated with removing them other than locating them to be dug. There will be probably over 1,000 clumps as many of the varieteis have multiple clumps. These are tried and true varieties that we sell huge amounts of every season, we are just trying to downsize to a more managable size and concentrate more on our hybridizing.

As far as price goes I have estimated a price..7,500 dollars is my bottom dollar and if you look at what you are getting, it is an absolute gold mine of plants that I GUARANTEE and DARE you to find at a cheaper price anywhere in the country..If you break it down to a per clump price it's around 5-7 dollars per CLUMP!!! If you look at the prices of some of these you can quickly see what a deal this is..There will be over 1,000 clumps and probably more like 1,500 by the time I give you another WHOLE bed for FREE on top of these..That bed has some oldies and unnamed and species base plants and several HUGE 50+ fan clumps of named ones as well..You will be getting these for litterally penies per fan...Like I said before the only reason I'm selling these is because as you can see we have thousands more and I just will not have the time to move themm. They will need to be dug as soon as possible before we start with filling orders so there is no chaos when we are digging our plants...Like I said there may be a 1-2% variance in inventory between now and when they are dug but the price is still the same..This price is insanely low enough to cover any variance..plus with all the freebies I'm throwing in as well...

This is also being advertised all over the net in several classifieds, so the first $7,500 cash in my hands gets this.

Here is a view from above of our farm. I took this photo while out flying in the summer of 2009. The square in the foreground closest to the road is where our new daylily

display garden will be planted. We hope to have this done by summer 2011. In the foreground on the left side is where our new daylily seedling beds have been started.

They will contain over 10,000 seedlings at any given time. We hope to have a pavilion constructed in close proximity to the seedling beds between the two trees you can

see in the picture. You can see our many daylily beds within the center part of the picture with the new 3.5 acre berry field in the background.

Welcome to Bluegrass Gardens Farm & Nursery. Yes our name has changed to incorporate our new addition of blueberries, blackberries,

raspberries, and Japanese haskap. We are a State inspected, certified, and licensed family owned and operated daylily and berry farm

located in the lakes region of western Kentucky. Again we received a clean state inspection for 2010. Our Daylily farm specializes in Spider

and Unusual Form daylilies but we carry a wide variety of other hybridizer's  plants as well.  Our new Berry farm will start out consisting of

over 3.5 acres of U-Pick/We-Pick Blueberries, Blackberries, and Raspberries, as well as one of only a handful of exclusive growers of

Japanese Haskap, which looks like an elongated blueberry, but with a completely different taste. Also at our farm, we have a variety of animals

such as pygmy goats, Sicilian miniature donkeys, and several breeds of exotic chickens. If you're in the area, stop by and visit us.

Our bloom season for Daylilies is from mid May until September with peak bloom being the end of June until the first 2 weeks of July. Our

berries should start ripening in May and continue through most of the summer. If your coming from out of town please email us ahead of time

to make sure you arrive when the daylilies are in optimum bloom, and our berries are ripe and ready to pick. Please take some time to explore

both aspects of our site.  If photographs are used (Non commercial) all we ask is that you give credit for the pictures to Bluegrass Gardens

Farm & Nursery and provide a link to our site.

I think you will find our pricing very reasonable. We will be selling out of several varieties very fast so please order early. This is our fifth

season for our Layaway Plan. We feel like this will help you get more of the plants you want without all of the expense at one time.   This

has been a very big success for us over the years and we had some great customer feedback about it's convenience. For more information

on our layaway terms please go to the Order Info Page above in the navigation box. We want to say thanks to all our friends and customers

that made 2010 a great year for us.  In the process we have met a lot of fine people, and made countless new friends along the way. Enjoy

browsing our site and we hope you will find something you like. Also please don't forget to check out our new daylily introductions for 2010.
